I liked the episode, but I agree with the others that there are scenes in the book that would have worked perfectly fine in the show, that AB simply will not ..admit to maybe? It's his show, blah, blah, blah, but ...I still can't get past nazi werewolves. Like werewolves aren't bad-ass enough, we have to throw in vamp blood and nazis
I agree on Franklin Mott- he is a scary vamp, and I like it
And Bill, we know he isn't being cold, we know he's saving Sookie the only way he can. He is unwillingly getting back in touch with his bad-side. But I don't like it- the self-sacrifice, the undying love

.
I'm trying to remember, in the book, why was Russel in the werebar?
Clearly Laf and Eric together are brilliant. Thank goodness AB kept that character in the story.
Jason blackmailing Andy...that just seems way out-of-character for him. I know he's a bit desperate and jealous at the moment, but that seems even to be a stretch for him.
Given the whole Eric day-dream sequence (which I didn't mind, but I thought it was unnecessary), does that mean we aren't getting Eric flying to Alcide's and him going in through the window? I love that scene in the book- Alcide standing cross-armed in the bedroom doorway with just his pant bottoms, and Eric floating outside...*sigh*...and doesn't he give her blood in that bedroom?
And AB's Debbie Pelt seems to be as dumb as a bag of rocks- just really trashy. That's NOT how I read book Debbie- at all. What the hell did Alcide see in tv Debbie? yikes.
